der heugewinn – ursprünglich mit dem titel landschaft : Mittag – ist ein gemälde von john constable , im jahr 1821 , dies zeigt eine ländliche szene am fluss stour zwischen den englischen grafschaften suffolk und essex . es hängt in der national gallery in london und gilt als " Constable's berühmtestes bild " und eines der größten und beliebtesten englischen gemälde . In öl auf leinwand gemalt , die arbeit zeigt als zentrales merkmal drei pferde, die einen scheinbar hölzernen wain oder einen großen farmwagen über den fluss ziehen . Willy Lott's Ferienhaus , auch das thema eines gleichnamigen gemäldes von constable , ist ganz links sichtbar . die szene spielt in der nähe der flatford mill in suffolk , obwohl der stour die grenze zweier landkreise bildet , das linke ufer befindet sich in suffolk und die landschaft am rechten ufer befindet sich in essex .
